A passionate observer - almost mesmerized - of rocky textures, patterns (shapes) in Nature and changes of perspective, I have developed through time photographic resources on these themes, classified archives which I have digitized for most of them.
A part of these resources can be consulted at the URL:
http://flelchat.free.fr/galerie/index.html
I would like to edit a book and a CD from these resources, around which I will write the texts.
The concept is to class these resources by themes, as in my gallery and to make associations of ideas (and pictures) between visually similar shapes, mainly because of the shooting angle (and also because of the connection network and the emotional prints of the brain of the person creating such associations...)
Another interesting development about rocky textures is the study of changes having occured through time on the same rocky place, changes induced by the erosion process, water running, tides, mechanical strain on rocks:
It consists in collecting periodically (every year, every 5 years) pictures of the same place while trying to respect the shooting angle, the distance, the season, the hour and the shooting ambient conditions (brightness). Then, to observe changes.
The frequence of takes would be close for brittle rocks and less for hard rocks (granite for instance).
